The bridge deck is designed as a permeable, non-slip walking zone and is accompanied on both sides by railings with wire mesh infill.
Tolhuit N sheet metal profile gratings and pressed gratings, hot-dip galvanized, S235JR, with mesh size 22.2 x 21 mm and bearing bar 50 x 2 mm, were used for flooring and walkways. The open surface supports safe foot traffic in outdoor areas and facilitates the drainage of water and dirt. This creates a resilient pedestrian walkway in the direction of the urban development.
