MEISER supplied the sheet metal profile gratings for a continuous walkway along the façade of a factory building.
Formstep N made of hot-dip galvanized steel in 50 x 2.5 mm with a perforated surface was used. The design combines the functional development of the building with an architecturally clear appearance and integrates precisely into the façade structure.
The walkway provides access around the perimeter of the company building along the façade and creates a continuous walk-on level for access and use along the building envelope. In addition to safe accessibility, the design effect also played an important role here, as the walkway was deliberately integrated into the architecture as a façade element.
MEISER sheet metal profile gratings with a perforated surface were installed as Formstep N 50 x 2.5 mm, hot-dip galvanized. The profiles take on the function of the walkable walkway surface and ensure a calm architectural appearance along the façade thanks to their closed, clearly structured appearance. At the same time, the hot-dip galvanized design offers long-lasting corrosion protection, while the profiled perforation creates a robust and low-maintenance solution for long-term use on the building.
