In the upper section of the steel structure, the staircase and platform lead to the viewing area as a continuous pathway, secured by railings and side edgings.
Pressed gratings with SR4 anti-slip protection with a mesh size of 33 x 33 mm and a 40 x 3 mm bearing bar were installed. In addition, pressed grating steps 1200 x 305 mm with mesh width 33 x 33 mm and bearing bar 40 x 3 mm with lugs and 70 mm tread were used. The result is a robust, slip-resistant solution that precisely reproduces the curved shape of the platform.
