Special Constructions

The state-of-the-art testing and technology center south of Madrid was built specifically to test summer and winter tires under a wide variety of driving conditions.

The versatile test track stretches over seven kilometers and allows for both tire wear testing and test drives at speeds of up to 300 km/h.

A double row of single-distance safety barriers (EDS) from meiser, arranged one above the other, was installed to secure the test track. The safety barrier extends for a total of 3,000 m and consists of two steep curves, each 1,500 m long.
