Solid-5 and Solid-5 Combo
Combining the two systems creates a large V-shaped roof for double-row parking spaces. Even rows of parking spaces separated by green belts can be easily covered. The position of the supports allows vehicle doors to open without obstruction.
Your contact persons Solar SystemsThe combination of two Voltwing Solid-5 systems expands the Solid line to provide a solution for two-row parking areas. Two cantilevered units are arranged opposite each other and combined to form a continuous canopy, while the basic system logic remains unchanged.
As with the single module, the design is based on the interaction between precast concrete elements and Voltrail roofing. When combined, this principle also allows for construction with minimal impact on the ground and integrates seamlessly into the modular building system.
By juxtaposing two systems, an expanded canopy area is created for rows of parking spaces facing each other. The system depth of approximately 5.4 m per unit forms the basis for a functional overall geometry. The variable roof length, adjustable in increments of approximately 1 meter, is retained, allowing for adaptation to different parking lot layouts.
The structural characteristics of the Solid-5 remain intact even when combined with other elements. These include the cantilevered design, the placement of the supporting structure outside the traffic lanes, and the integration of photovoltaics in the form of a bifacial solar roof.
This system expansion creates a scalable solution for larger parking areas, extending the advantages of the individual system—reduced foundation requirements, modular design, and integrated solar technology—to a two-row configuration.
