Recycling & Circular Economy
Steel – including galvanised steel – is 100% recyclable and can be recycled repeatedly. In this way, we help close the material loop and support a genuine circular economy. Steel is already one of the most sustainable materials used in industry, as it can be processed and reused time and again without loss of quality.
By developing durable products, using materials efficiently and designing products with recyclability in mind, we help conserve resources and reduce waste.
This results in solutions that are not only economically efficient, but also support the responsible use of energy and raw materials over the long term.

- Use of plant-based profiling oils: Environmentally friendly oils help protect the soil while maintaining the quality of our profiles.
- Responsible use of materials: Consistent separation of wood, plastic and steel waste ensures efficient recycling and recovery.
- Professional treatment of water and waste oil: All process fluids are handled and treated in an environmentally responsible manner by certified specialist companies.
- Resource-efficient galvanising technologies: Wherever possible, we use continuous hot-dip galvanising with zinc-aluminium-magnesium (ZAM) coatings, which require up to 75% fewer natural resources while providing the same service life.
- Regional sourcing: Short transport routes and European raw materials that meet high environmental standards help to sustainably reduce our CO₂ footprint.
